In addition to the provision of farm fresh produce, flowers and uniquely-crafted goods, the Lake Bluff Farmers’ Market team works to create more than a market, but a community-wide event each and every Summer Friday in Lake Bluff. From live music and cooking demonstrations to our famous corn roasts and experienced “Master Gardeners” on-hand, the Lake Bluff Farmers’ Market offers something for everyone!

Cooking Demonstrations

Throughout each Lake Bluff Farmers’ Market season, chefs from across Lake Bluff, Lake Forest and beyond hold live cooking demonstrations that are focused on great flavors, great recipes and the great products available at the market. Think seasonal. Think farm-to-table. These demonstrations are a favorite of market-goers and market organizers alike! The full schedule of cooking demonstrations will be available shortly.

Master Gardeners

Master Gardeners are adults of all ages who love gardening and who have previous gardening experience.

The mission of the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener program is “Helping Others Learn to Grow.” Master Gardeners involve people in improving the quality of life by helping them find sound management practices for home and urban natural resources, by creating aesthetically pleasing environments, by promoting well-being through people-plant interactions and horticultural therapy, and by contributing to a safe, abundant food supply through home fruit and vegetable production.

Master Gardeners will be on-hand at the Lake Bluff Farmers’ Market on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month this summer.
