Local Musicians Help Create Festive Market Season

To help create a festive and spirited community event each Friday this summer, the Lake Bluff Farmers’ Market team is happy to announce that local musicians have been secured for each and every market in 2013. The Lake Bluff Farmers’ Market first presented a regular series of musicians in 2012 and hopes to draw more visitors to the Village Green for produce, baked goods, flowers and more with these performances serving as an engaging plus.

The following local musicians will be on-hand to entertain the crowd at Lake Bluff Farmers’ Markets this summer:

Tommy Stockert & Kyle Strobel
Tommy Stockert and Kyle Strobel are local residents and high school seniors, the former a student of Lake Forest High School and the latter attending Loyola Academy. Stockert and Strobel are members of the band Cause=Time and their band produces original songs and sprinkles in covers from their many musical influences. Performance Dates: June 14, July 12, August 9

Terry Moran
Terry Moran is a Lake Bluff-based singer, songwriter and guitarist who regularly played at the Lake Bluff Brewery and other businesses across the Village. Terry has played with other local musicians as well and is a fixture in the local music scene.

Performance Dates: June 21, July 26, August 2, August 16, August 23, August 30, September 13, September 27, October 11

Ken Hall
Ken Hall’s musical roots run deep in the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff area. Ken started playing the piano and writing his own music at a young age. He loved to compose melodies and fool his Grandpa into thinking a famous composer had written them. Ken has played with many groups including the John Moulder Ken Hall Duo, The Last Dance Band, Jazz Conceptions, The Lil’ Cow Band, Damascus Road, and The Message Ensemble. Ken has also been an active church musician for over 25 years.
